Christian has a wealth of experience in the planning and execution of large-scale urban projects across Australia, Asia and the Middle East. Having worked with leading architectural practices in the US, China, and Australia, he has gained a diverse and comprehensive understanding of the complexities of global design and development.
As the visionary behind CLOUDZ, Chris plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the race concept, along with the complementary finish line event, aligns seamlessly with the original vision. His meticulous attention to detail and strategic approach make him the driving force behind bringing the concept to life, ensuring that every aspect stays true to its initial intent.

ROBERT MAAS
Michelin Star Chef / Co Founder CLOUDZ

Robert's culinary journey began at prestigious Michelin Star restaurants in Paris and London, where he refined his skills before earning his own Michelin Star in 2016 at the Remise in Bonn, Germany.
His creativity and expertise are invaluable assets to the team. Robert is responsible for crafting the culinary concept, ensuring a unique and memorable dining experience. Additionally, he oversees the management of the VIP area, where his attention to detail and passion for excellence will create an exceptional atmosphere for guests.








Gordon Hookey
Contemporary Artist

Gordon Hookey is one of Australia’s most influential contemporary artists and a found ing member of the proppaNOW collective. His work spans painting, sculpture, and installation, combining biting political commentary with humour and bold visual language. Hookey has exhibited widely at institutions including QAGOMA and the Museum of Contemporary Art Sydney, as well as international biennales. His practice confronts racism, colonial histories, and Indigenous rights, making him a leading voice








Claudia Luettringhaus
Head of Consular Services ,Consulate of the Federal Republic of Germany in Brisbane

Claudia has served as Head of Consular Service at the German Consulate in Brisbane since 2010 and continues in this role today, supporting the Honorary Consul and facilitating German consular outreach across Queensland. She plays a key role in organising events, most notably co-leading Brisbane German Week-a nine-day showcase of Germany’s educational, scientific, economic, political, and cultural ties. Claudia also engages actively with the German-Australian community through cultural and diplomatic programming, including local festivals and film initiatives.
Kory McAvoy

Kory McAvoy is one of Brisbane’s leading marketing professionals, with over 120 BACD industry awards recognising her outstanding creative and strategic work. She has also received an Australian Effie, three AMI Queensland Awards, and international W³ Awards for digital excellence. Her advisory role with CLOUDZ ensures the program benefits from sharp marketing insight and award-winning expertise, positioning it strongly with partners, media, and the wider public.

Rafaele Persichetti is a dynamic and multi-talented entrepreneur with a unique blend of Italian heritage and entrepreneurial flair. Renowned for his work as the visionary behind Mexican Mama Taco in West End, Rafaele has successfully brought a fresh and vibrant dining experience to the area, blending authentic Mexican flavors with a modern twist. As a restaurant developer, his expertise extends beyond just creating exceptional dining spaces - he brings a deep understanding of design, atmosphere, and culinary innovation to every project.
In addition to his restaurant ventures, Rafaele is also a designer and the proud owner of a distillery, where his passion for fine spirits shines through in every bottle. Whether designing a restaurant, crafting spirits, or curating exceptional experiences, Rafaele Persichetti continues to make a significant mark in the world of gastronomy.
